Meet the Chef
Theodoros Kakoulis is the Executive Chef behind Cremnos, bringing over 16 years of experience in contemporary Greek cuisine and fine dining. His approach is defined by precision, clean flavours and a reverence for the integrity of every ingredient.
Rooted in Mediterranean tradition and shaped by Greek references, his dishes combine modern techniques with deep respect for seasonality, nature and the purity of the product. Working closely with local Cretan farmers and producers, he focuses on sustainable sourcing, thoughtful simplicity and minimizing food waste - creating dishes with depth, balance, and enduring elegance.
In 2024, he was named among the 100 most influential chefs in Greece by the FnL Guide and selected by the Athinorama Awards as one of the five rising chefs shaping the future of Greek gastronomy.
